
Why is meditation important? In this day and age, our lifestyles are so hectic. Our minds don’t have time to switch off, we are constantly thinking about something. This takes a toll on our bodies, mentally and physically. It can help calm your mind, improve concentration and communication, better clarity, and of course, relaxation and rejuvenation of the mind and body.
What can meditation help with?
Lower blood pressure, reduce anxiety attacks, increases blood flow and slows the heart rate, increases serotonin production (low levels can cause depression, obesity, insomnia and headaches), reduces pre-menstrual syndrome, helps chronic diseases, enhances the immune system and reduces activity of viruses and emotional distress.
Meditation strengthens the mind, makes you feel more connected, helps you appreciate life more, makes you happier and reduces aging.

I offer group sessions and 1 to 1.
Group price is £7 per person (within Inverness)
Group price £8 to £10 per person (out-with Inverness)
Individual price is £30 an hour.
I am happy to come to work places if you can get a group together, or if you’re outwith Inverness, I would be happy to travel (within reason) to where you are if you can get a group of 6 or more people.
What happens during a meditation class?
So, during the classes, you will be shown how to do mindfulness meditation. This is a great way to still and clear the mind. There are many ways in which this can be done, walking, eating (yes eating!), taking part in a hobby or sport, or just sitting and focusing the mind on an object. After this, you then take part in either one or two guided meditations, which, most of all, aids total relaxation.
Group Sessions
I am happy to come to workplaces, groups or events to run a meditation group for you. This will consist of a guided meditation which will last for around 30 minutes to an hour. We can discuss what kind of meditations you’d like and how long you’d like it to run for.
I ask that groups/sessions have a minimum of 6 people. Prices are £7 per person (within Inverness) Price out with Inverness will depend on travel distance.
Group sessions which are just guided meditations are 30 to 60 minutes long depending on what you would like to include, age and attention span of the group.
